I am sitting here feeding Bella and Wyatt is "attempting" a nap. Since CC gets off work at 7:00 pm, we kinda gave up on FHE since the boys go to bed around 7:30. So our Branch President suggested maybe on Sunday night we can do FHE. I wasn't feeling it because we already have something going on Sunday nights, family movie night.
During Sacrament yesterday, I actually got to pay attention more than I had been able to in a long time! WOOHOO! Anyways, the speaker was talking about making FHE shorter and more simple instead of this long drawn out experience. REALLY?!?!?! We can DO that?!?!?
=D
So tonight, we are having a simple FHE and Wyatt needs to take a nap a little later than normal and a little longer than normal so he doesn't have a mega meltdown during FHE.
WOW
I sure went off topic!
So what has been going since my last post?
Bella Rosa was born at 7:48 pm on October 8. 7 lbs 10 oz 19 inches long. A cute lil chunky baby. Unfortunately, she had jaundice. Not too bad that she had to go to hospital, but bad enough for that oh so great bili blanket and bili box. Oh how I hated those! She spazed when we put her in the box because she had to wear these horrible goggles to protect her eyes. She screamed bloody murder and then Wyatt would cry because his sister was hurt and then I would cry because I didn't wanna hear my babies like that. So I refused the box. She was on the blanket for only 3 days though. She lost almost a pound. :( Had to get her poor lil foot pricked daily.
She is such a good baby. She loves to snuggle and loves to be held. She is kinda clingy, which is really no surprise to anyone who knows me. She smiled on the 21st of November and on the 29th of November she began making noise that isn't crying in response to someone (her daddy). If you tell her she's a pretty girl, she smiles at you. :) She is a pretty girl though. CC calls her a pretty puppy (I have no idea why LOL) and Wyatt came up with BellaFrog because she sticks her tongue out A LOT! I call her Bella, BellaFrog and Bella Mia. She has this tuft of hair on the top of her head that does not lay down. It stands straight up. Poor thing.
Her blessing is this Sunday! I am so excited for that! We are going to be getting her dress tomorrow. I have a visual in my head for this dress. I am hoping I can find it!!!!
So, shes getting so big now. I will have to post pics later because I am on the laptop, which has no pics on it.
We rearranged the whole house, the pc is in our bedroom and the exercise bike came downstairs. I even got a new desk! Well, the desk isn't new, but it's new to me!!! My sister in law traded desks with me. :)
So what all have we done since October 2 ?
Organized the Halloween Branch Activity with the Florence Ward - hectic and tons of people, but tons of fun.
Elva, Cynthia and I went to New Moon at midnight on the 19th of November! Oh that was soooooo fun! I am so excited to have seen it! It was a GREAT movie! I highly recommend either the movie or the book! I suggest reading the book first. Elva saw the movie first and is now reading the book. She is getting so mad when she gets to a GOOD part in the book that was left out of the movie. :)
The 3rd of November was the last day Wyatt wore diapers! WOOHOO! That is stinkin exciting for me! I only had to change diapers for 2 kids for a month! Whew! He did great too! He had a few pee accidents in his undies and pooped in his undies on day 1, day 2 he had one pee accident in his undies and still pooped in his undies, day 3 no pee accidents but pooped in the undies. Day 4 came around...and he pooped in the potty! I was so excited! We did a potty and poopoo dance every time! He got a Hershey's Kiss (which he calls Hot Cocoa) for every pee and a marshmallow for poop. After 2 weeks, I didn't buy more kisses but still kept the marshmallows. He only poops once or twice a day but was peeing constantly! He has had a few accidents when we went to Chuck E Cheese and Sears, but that's just because it was so exciting looking at toys and playing games. :)
Wyatt turned 3!!!! More little boy is getting so big!!! He has had a rough year. He has hives and we don't know what he is allergic to but as long as he takes his daily zyrtec, he doesn't break out. He had a broken arm, has gotten sick a bunch of times and is constantly getting hurt.
We had a great Thanksgiving at Mimi's house. Spent time with my bratty sisters (=P), Mom, Mimi, Gramps, Allie's bf Will, and John and Sunnie.
We had a Twilight birthday party for Wyatt. He chose the theme (but I was so secretly excited about it!) and since we are in such a small apartment, we were only going to invite family. But Wyatt is in love with Izzy and really wanted to invite her. Their family has been there with us since Kane was 18 months old. They have never given up on us and my kids think of their kids as family. It's so fun when we go over there because my boys automatically think they can do whatever. They will open their fridge for a snack and just cruise around. You can tell they don't feel like guests there, but like family.
Kane is doing great in 1st grade. He is a lil advanced so he gets a lil bored in some of the classes. But he is in a different school than last year. So he struggled with the "I don't know anyone" drama. LOL
CC is getting ready to decide his future LOL. After the holidays he is going to decide which route he wants to take at work and will begin training for that new position. That is exciting for me!
I am still in school. Should be done next November!
Now, I need to publish this so I can go write down what I just ate. :)

10 1/2 days....WOOHOO!
So, I was at the Doc's today and I am now 60% effaced and 3 cm dilated. I am also at zero station. WOOHOO! *Do a happy dance* However, this SUCKS for me since now I walk like I am in a "Let's see how far you can walk with a balloon in between your legs" race. If Bella doesn't come before then (which the doctor thinks I will go before then) we are inducing on October 13. That's why it is 10 1/2. Because at 9:15 at night I can't say 10 and be honest, but saying 11 seems SO much longer. :)A week and a half ago, my brother in law, Elias, took my boys to the zoo. I was SOOOO grateful to him for taking them. They were gone for almost 4 hours!!! WOOHOO! It goes Ana'Li, Wyatt, Kane and Martin.
This is Kane's first day of first grade. Yes, it's our van. No, it's not our home. :) Those are the homes "in renovation" Ours is another building to the right of the pic. Maybe I should have taken a picture of it before Old Man Winter came in and froze my plants up! I didn't even think about taking a pic of my garden. :)

16 days....
So I only have 16 days left. I have been BEGGING Bella to come out...like yesterday! But now my two lil ones are sick, sick, sick and I am now begging Bella NOT to come out quite yet.
We are getting both tested for the swine flu later. The Dr. thinks based on their symptoms they may have it. Which makes me even MORE sad because I only got the seasonal influenza shot. I hope I don't get sick. And CC?!?!?! He is saving his vacation and sick and personal time for being at home when Bella is born!!!! He can't stay home for a week because of H1N1! Arrggghhhhh.Alex and Kane and CC on 4th of July 2008.
Kane and Wyatt in their Steelers jerseys. It was their first football game of the season. I was working. :( They look so handsome. 2008
Kane wanted to sport a mohawk. It was very short lived. About 30 minutes later he wanted me to wash it out. LOL
Wyatt. This is when we were at Children's. He got ear tubes. This is before the tubes. This is Wyatt drinking juice afterwards. June 27, 2008

So much junk....
My friend Amber (whom I haven't talked to since FOREVER!!) informed me that my blog was private. Well, it isn't anymore. Since I haven't seen Amber since I came to Omaha while I was pregnant with Wyatt, I figured she hasn't seen many pics of my kids! And everyone reading knows how much I LOVE pics of my boys!
So here is a bunch of pics of my boys!!!! (maybe a few of me and CC too!)Kane when he was born. :)
One of the few "quiet" pics of Kane.

Shooting behind me...
Last night I was trying to con my sister into getting off the phone with a friend to play Wii Fit. Kane was up waiting for her so he can watch her Hula Hoop. heehee
She was saying, "Can you call me back..." when we heard it. Shots.
Now I have lived in North Omaha for awhile and have heard gun shots before. I think the closest that I have been was 2 blocks. That sounds pretty close though. So imagine my horror when we heard shots that were literally behind me. The back of my yard is a tall fence that Omaha Housing Authority put up. It separates the projects from the non project houses. Where were these shots fired then? On the other side of the fence.
CC was upstairs putting Wyatt to bed. We were in the living room and the boys room faces the front too. So Allie, when the shots were all over (about 15 of them) dropped to the floor. When you hear shots, your generally supposed to drop to the floor immediately...not after they are done. LOL
CC called me, which was unusual because he never takes his phone upstairs, and he went to the window that faces the shooting (not very intelligent, I know) and lets me know that there are so many people running from the neighborhood to the shooting. Then we hear police and a WHOLE bunch of people start running from the shooting to guess where? Our street. CC yells at us to turn off all the lights so none of the runners will try and come into our house. A few jumped our fence and ran through our back yard to the front yard. The police slammed on their breaks in front of our house and ran out with their guns drawn. They got 3 of the guys and took them in for questioning. It was amazing all of the people going outside to tell their side of the story.
We, at this point, have police going through our yard, checking under our porches and in the truck. My nosy sister wants to go outside and I told her I live here! Your not going out there! I did not see anything therefore we are not getting involved!
I began thinking. Mimi (my grandma) is gonna FREAK out when she finds out the shooting was pretty much in my backyard. She has been begging us to move. She has been saying, "Wait til summer! All the shootings happen then!" One warm day and we already have a shooting.
Kane was scared. He was shaking. He was afraid a bullet would come in here.
After a lot of distraction (Allie not doing so good on some of the games) Kane was ok to go to bed...at TEN O'CLOCK! Oh my gosh kid!
We wake up this morning only to discover that the 3 kids who were taken in for questioning were released and the kid shot was shot in his back.
So we have someone out there who is shooting others behind their back.
I am not a little freaked out. :(

If I only had a .....
I am 9 weeks pregnant. At max, I have 31 more weeks. There was no exclamation mark after that. Why? Because I HATE being pregnant. HATE HATE HATE. I LOVE having a baby. I LOVE being a Mama. But I cannot stand the pregnancy. It drags on forever, I am depressed and exhausted the whole time and I am usually in some form of pain or discomfort throughout the majority of it.
Right now, I feel down. I am so tired. I could seriously sleep all day. I was advised not to get on anti-depressants until at least 12 weeks. So I only have 3 more weeks?!?! Oh my. Plus the time it takes to kick in.
I need help!
So I am watching The Dr's right now and a guy just ate his wife's placenta.
EWWWWWWWW
I am hoping to get out of this "funk" soon. I don't feel like such a good person right now. :(

Crazy Nebraska Laws
I love these things. There is a link after to see other crazy laws in other states...
Nebraska
• A man is not allowed to run around with a shaved chest.
• A parent can be arrested if her/his child cannot hold back a burp during a church service.
• Barbers are forbidden by law from shaving a man's chest in Omaha, Nebraska.
• In the fine state of Nebraska, it is not legal for a tavern owner to serve beer unless a nice kettle of soup is also brewing.
• It is illegal for a mother to give her daughter a perm without a state license.
• It is illegal for bar owners to sell beer unless they are simultaneously brewing a kettle of soup.
• It is Illegal to go whale fishing.
• It is illegal to sleep naked in a hotel/ motel room.
• Lehigh: Doughnut holes may not be sold
• Omaha: Sneezing or burping is illegal during a church service.
• The owner of every hotel in Hastings is required to provide each guest with a clean and pressed nightshirt. No couple, even if they are married, may sleep together in the nude. Nor may they have sex unless they are wearing one of these clean, white cotton nightshirts.
• Waterloo: Barbers are forbidden from eating onions between 7 A.M. and 7 P.M.
Yeah. And people thought I was weird. HAHA.

STUPID SCHOOL!!!!!!
So I got kicked out of school.
Do you have ANY idea how FREAKING mad I am?????
I contacted my Academic Advisor and told him I needed to take a F for my classes and retake them. I had to do that before and my advisor was so sweet. Then she got promoted and I got this joke of an advisor. I call him and email him and he NEVER calls back.
So I let him know I am gonna take an F since I can't get back online in enough time to finish classes. My pc broke down and the Internet was turned off for awhile.
Anyways. I call someone on Friday to re-register for those classes. I got registered and on Wednesday I logged in to go to school. THEY DIS-ENROLLED ME!
I called them back and they said they would look into it and call me back. I would get back into school in no time.
I call today and talk to someone who is completely incompetent. She said that my advisor has been calling me every other day and has been emailing me and since i haven't logged in for 21 days the school boots me out!!!!!
WHAT THE HECK!
I have not gotten ONE phone call OR email from that baboon. But I have officially been kicked out of Kaplan. Now I get to talk to people at Returning Students. She informs me that all of my financial aid that was not used will be returned to the government. That's cool with me. But it will take 51 DAYS! So, I cannot start school until the earliest March 25. But here is the kicker...
I might have to pay for my last set of classes BEFORE I am re-enrolled.
Yeah. I can't afford that right now.
Great.
I will find out by March 15 if I have to pay for it before I can go back. If I don't, I just have to do all of that school enrolling alllllll over again.
I am getting over the flu, I am cranky, my house is a mess, I have a horrible aversion to smells and I can't get into school yet?!?!?!?!
I need a boxing bag. I will feel much better after beating something to pieces.
I feel a little bit better now.
But now I have to go and get ready to go have lunch with CC and Wyatt. Am I hungry for Tortas or Zio's?
Wyatt eating his tacos....
Kane on his birthday at school....
